Müller Contemporary announces the opening of its new gallery space at Droysenstr. 13 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Formerly operating as Untiled Gallery, the program now continues under the name Müller Contemporary, marking a sharpened institutional focus and a long-term commitment to presenting contemporary positions primarily, but not exclusively from Southeastern Europe.
The inaugural exhibition brings together three artists whose practices have accompanied the gallery’s development over the past years: Marina Stanimirovic, Göksu Baysal and Yasmin Nebenführ. Their work reflects the gallery’s sustained interest in material precision, spatial sensitivity, and the tension between narrative and abstraction.
Stanimirovic’s installations operate with restraint and structural clarity, often negotiating fragility and endurance within architectural settings. Baysal’s practice moves between image and object, drawing from memory, displacement, and the urban environment without settling into documentary language. Nebenführ’s work explores surface, reproduction, and the shifting relationship between gesture and image, questioning how visual culture is constructed and consumed.
The opening exhibition is conceived not as a survey, but as a continuation. It reflects an ongoing dialogue between gallery and artists, a shared trajectory that now finds a new architectural and conceptual framework in Charlottenburg.
With Müller Contemporary, Kai Müller establishes a distinct platform that consolidates more than fifteen years of curatorial, technical, and cross-regional experience.
Further information regarding exhibition dates and the opening reception will be announced shortly.
